A poem that explores the misery that US home and foreign policy has caused as it strives to preserve its hegemony
Americas military today is the largest and most costly in the world. President Obama in his recent State of the Union address emphasized this as representing the most important evidence of America’s continuing strength and well being. Force imposed on the weak is the primary driver of US foreign policy while its domestic policy is overruled by the rich.
This poem explores US policy and its eventual decline and loss of hegemony. Continue reading “Sadly – US Policy at Home and Abroad”

Mondoweiss has an article titled: Marco Rubio and AIPAC allied in effort to insert poison pill into Iran deal. The article describes a blatant incursion of Israel politics into the US Presidential election. Will this effect overall Israel/US relationships? Is it a bridge too far for Israel and PM Netanyahu? Or is it now par for the course. Here is a poem; read it and reflect.
